Peab has been commissioned to build new psychiatric premises in Kalmar. The customer is Kalmar County Council and the contract is worth SEK 745 million.
The project is a turnkey contract in partnering. During Phase 1 Peab has together with the customer prepared the system documents focusing on patients and patient usefulness in which the building will create an innovative caring environment.
Kalmar Municipality has needed to expand its psychiatric facilities for a long time.
Construction will start in the beginning of June 2018 and the project is expected be completed in the winter of 2021.
The project will be order registered in the second quarter of 2018.
