Peab builds homes in Tromsø

Peab has been commissioned to build the first construction stage of 78 homes in the project Einerhagen in Langnes in Tromsø. The customer is Einerhagen Eiendom AS and the contract is worth NOK 288 million, corresponding to SEK 285 million.

The first construction stage consists of 78 apartments in two buildings: a multi-story building with one to three bedroom apartments and a high-rise building with larger apartments, including four bedroom apartments of over 100 m2.

"Einerhagen is an important project for us and a very concrete contribution to meeting housing needs in Tromsø. We’re developing a new residential environment that will contribute to local community development in the coming years," says Even Liahjell, CEO of Arnestedet Eiendom.

The project has clear environmental ambitions, including preserving existing nature, using district heating and energy efficient solutions as well as focusing on limits for greenhouse gas emissions and minimizing waste during the construction.

"We've been looking forward to getting started on Einerhagen. This project provides both new housing opportunities in Tromsø and is a significant project for Peab in northern Norway," says Christian Mæhre, Region Manager Peab Norway.

Einerhagen will be developed in six construction stages and consist of a total of over 600 homes. Einerhagen Eiendom AS is owned 50/50 by Arnestedet Eiendom and Peab Eiendomsutvikling.

Work has already begun and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2028.

The project will be order registered in business area Construction in the second quarter 2026.
