Peab builds multi-purpose building in Lund

Peab has been commissioned to build a multi-purpose building in Lund. The customer is Dommura Properties AB and the contract is worth SEK 411 million.

The new multi-purpose building is a new hybrid block that puts together homes, offices, businesses and mobility in a cohesive structure. The multi-purpose building will be located in the new district of Västerbro in the western part of Lund. A green courtyard will be placed on top of the mobility building to create a calm and sheltered environment in the middle of the block.

The total area is 29,000 m2 with the number of stories varying between six and seven. The project will be certified according to Miljöbyggnad Gold 4.0 and designed to enable 3D property sharing, which provides flexibility and long-term sustainability.

"We’re very proud of the trust placed in us and look forward to contributing our knowledge and expertise to the development of the multi-purpose building in Lund's growing new district. This project is a clear example of how we at Peab work closely with our local communities and create long-term value together with our customers and partners," says Marcus Emanuel, Region Manager Peab.

The project is a turnkey contract. Work will start in the autumn of 2026 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2028/beginning of 2029.

The project will be order registered in the first quarter 2026.
