Peab builds new middle school in Bollebygd

Peab has been commissioned to build a new school for grades 7-9 in Bollebygd. The customer is Bollebygd Municipality and the contract is worth SEK 127 million.

The new school will be about 5,300 square meters, built on two floors and an attic, parts of which will be used for technical installations. The school will house approximately 450 students.

"Finally it's time to start detailed planning and get started with production after several years of planning. It will also be exciting to see if what we build exceeds the organization’s expectations," says Said Dawodi, Project Manager at Bollebygd Municipality.

"We’re pleased to have been entrusted with developing the future school environment in Bollebygd. Schools are important community building projects and at Peab we have extensive experience in several school construction projects in the area. Now we're looking forward to creating modern premises suited to the students and staff in Bollebygd," says Andreas D'Arienzo, Region Manager Peab.

The project includes the planning and new construction of the school. Construction is scheduled to start in the autumn of 2026 and the final inspection is expected to take place in late autumn 2028.

The project will be order registered in business area Construction in the third quarter 2026.
